Joe has been drawing for over 50 years and has wanted to work in comics since the 8th grade. That dream never came true, though there are a few Indy credits with his name on them, including Constellation Graphics 1 &2, very first comic cover on #1, a story for Drew Edwards’ HalloweenMan comic, penciled, inked and colored by Joe, some work for the Nova 619 guys, including some inking and pencils on different issues, an issue of Beetle Girl, for Lucky Comics, and his own HeroBlog online series, a prose super-hero blog, with some art to keep it looking like a comic book world, and the web comic, Ad Astra. Ad Astra was the dream project (well, the Legion of Super-Heroes was the DREAM project, but that never came to pass) and ran for several years, online. The entire series is available in digital format.A lot of Joe’s time is spent working on characters and story ideas that, while not dead ends, never seem to go anywhere. But, a few of them keep coming back around and will one day be turned into some kind of comic project. Most of the time, Joe is working on art for various and sundry superhero role-playing games, like Supers!, Villains and Vigilantes and others. Over the years, Joe has developed a reputation as an “old school” comic artist, despite the fact that he has embraced the new technology and is moving forward as a digital artist. The style remains largely the same, though, so “old school style” is just fine, by him. In between art gigs, Joe dreams of winning the lottery, or at least having some Hollywood type discover his work and offer a fat development deal. Ad Astra: The Animated Series? ToPromote Interest in Star Wars While a growing number of people are experiencing a reawakening of their Star Wars fandom, newgenerations are seeking ways to celebrate their passion for GeorgeLucas's modern mythology. The 501st Legion brings these fanstogether, reinforcing the enduring longevity of the Star Wars saga.To Facilitate the Use of Costumes Some fans are content to collectaction figures...other fans want to be action figures. Nothingprofesses your passion quite like building your own detailed costumereplica of a classic Star Wars villain, and there's nothing quite likethe feeling that comes from bringing the characters of Star Warsinto the real world and sharing the magic with others.

Garon Whited was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1969 or 1970; the original birth certificate is suspiciously unavailable and other records do not agree. After following his parents around the South for several years, he finally caught up to them and settled somewhere in Texarkana.Garon attended Texarkana College, the University of Fayetteville, and Texas A&M. While he was in college, he studied physics, math, robotics, religion, philosophy, psychology, and of course, girls. Sadly, his grades were excellent in all but one of those categories.. He is presently single. When he’s not “vomiting words onto the page and then going back to clean it up”, Garon is a fan of Dungeons & Dragons and has been playing since he started 5th grade, with a box of paper booklets. He’s also a fan of running games when he has the time. Garon loves to read, usually science fiction and fantasy. His favorite authors include Robert Heinlein, Roger Zelazny, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Steven Brust, Spider Robinson, David Drake and E.E. “Doc” Smith. Garon’s has a particularly soft spot for Tolkien; his first copy of “The Lord of the Rings” fell apart because he was too young to take proper care of it — he read it to death.Garon Whited has written novels and various short stories and shows no signs of stopping. Having fought zombie dolphins, quasi-corporeal spirits, and brain-sucking mole rats, he is uniquely qualified to write fantastic fiction. His first book, “Nightlord: Sunset,” features a human physics teacher who is turned into a vampire against his will and proceeds to go on fantastical adventures.
